5TH STREET OHANA

Hawaiian Vacation Rental
A fusion of casual Hawaiian atmosphere with the quality and style of a secluded, small house. In Hawaiian, the word Ohana means family.
5th Street Ohana offers everything you will need on your stay in Volcano. Our Hawaii National Park vacation rentals are both equipped with all amenities such as coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, fridge, stove, TV and more.
5th Street Ohana is one of three unique lodging experiences by Emma Spencer Living in Volcano. It is located conveniently close to our other properties, Volcano Village Lodge and Volcano Village Estates, should you need anything during your stay.

The Village of Volcano
Just two miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and 45 minutes from Hilo.
The town of Volcano Village is small and the perfect getaway for those that are looking for a quiet and secluded stay away from the city.
The area boasts a number of restaurants, a small grocery store, pizza place and other services, just a quick drive from the vacation rentals.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is comparable in size to the Island of Oahu, and you can spend days exploring and hiking in the park.
Stay updated on the lava flow and park closures by visiting the park website.
The best time to see the glow of the lava is early in the morning or in the evening.

The Area
Just south of Volcano, one can find beautiful black and green sand beaches, along with other diverse landscapes. This region is called Ka’u. Ka’u has a few small towns, but is becoming more well-known for their coffee production; a great place to stop roadside or at the Ka’u Coffee Mill for some tastings.
